Daylight saving has arrived and regardless of what the weather is trying to tell us, Spring is officially here!
October is an exciting time for us at E Hayes. Not only does it mark the beginning of the Spring/Summer period but we can start the countdown to some exciting events on the horizon which we are proud to be associated with.
One of the most exciting of those must be the annual Burt Munro Challenge. Paying homage to one of Invercargill's favourite sons, this iconic event typifies what we are all about: unique, passionate, innovative, born and bred in Southland - AND DARN PROUD OF IT!
The Indians are Coming!
We've got a real treat in store for motorcycle fans next month, when Burt Munro's original 1920 Indian Scout will be joined in store by a full range of Indian Motorcycles including the very latest, newly released 2015 model.
The display will mark an emotional return to Southland for the iconic brand, coinciding with this year’s Burt Munro Challenge from 26th November to 1st December.

More Smiles in Store this Month
Two of our customers have had more reasons than usual to be smiling in store this month after winning big in two of our great sales promotions.
Sharron Atkinson (pictured above with Managing Director Neville Hayes) managed to "Whip up a Winner" after purchasing a KitchenAid blender from our kitchenware department. Not only is she on her way to enjoying some superior baking from her world famous brand appliance - she also won the purchase price of over $1000 back in E Hayes Gift Cards!

Proudly Waving our Flag
All eyes were on Auckland last week (luckily the power was still on!) as E Hayes and Sons contested the prestigious Retail Store of the Year (Up to 4000sqm) Category at the annual 2014 Hardware Awards.
Unfortunately it was not our night and we were pipped at the post by Tumu ITM Havelock North. However, to be chosen as one of the three finalists and the ONLY South Island store in our category- has certainly been a highlight of the year. Thanks to all our customers and staff for your great support and encouragement .
